Steve Bould to become the assistant manager next season.

It seems that Steve Bould will be the assistant manager next season, working alongside Arsene Wenger.

We expect to hear official announcement from Arsenal within a few days.

Appointment of Bould can prove to be very crucial for Arsenal in the coming seasons. Surely he will shake things up a bit in the dressing room and training.

We have had defensive problems for several years now and even after buying several defenders it seems that nothing is changing. Bould who used to be a ‘no nonsense’ defender back in his playing days can certainly help improve the current Arsenal defence.

Players such as Gibbs and Miquel will vastly benefit from Bould’s coaching. Even senior players such as Vermaelen and Koscielny will learn and improve their game.

This move can also help several of the youngsters from the Arsenal youth teams to force their way into the first team.

Bould has been a part of the coaching staff at Arsenal since 2001 so he isn’t exactly a new face and must be familiar with the way the club is run.

Let us hope that along with a couple of signings over the summer, this appointment helps us become stronger next season and challenge for the title.
