Latest on Arsenal targets Giroud, Hazard, Belhanda and M’Vila

According to very well-known French journalist Julien Laurens the deal for Yann M’Vila is virtually complete and he is “definitely on his way over” to Arsenal.

Speaking to TalkSport Laurens said that M’Vila will fit in very well at Arsenal. The price is said to be around £15-17 million mark, which in Arsenal terms is very expensive.

Surely Arsene Wenger has seen something in this player which made him fork out that much for a 21-year old. He is expected to take over the holding midfielder role from Alex Song, who loves venturing forward.

Arsenal has also been linked with Younes Belhanda. According to Laurens, Liverpool is highly interested in the player. Dalglish has watched him several times and has been very impressed with him. There is also a ‘little bit’ of interest from Arsenal in the player aswell who is being touted as “the most skillful player in Ligue 1”.

Oliver Giroud another player who has been linked with Arsenal for sometime has been watched by Newcastle. Even though Arsenal did show an interest in him and there had been rumours about him signing for Arsenal last January.

However with the signing to Podolski it seems that Arsenal will not be signing another striker this summer.

Lastly, Eden Hazard, whom Arsenal have been following for last few years now seems to be heading to Manchester, with City in the “driving seat” for his signature.

He was invited to the Manchester derby by City and then to the Wolves game. There were stories about a deal collapsing with City as the player was unable to reach agreement over wages.

It seems however Manchester City will eventually agree terms with him and sign him over the summer.

I guess signing of Yann M’Vila shows Arsenal is serious about challenging on all fronts next season. Let us hope we manage to add abit more quality and come back stronger next season.
