Arsenal set to miss out on M’Baye Niang, as AC Milan close in.

Arsenal have been tracking the highly rated Caen forward, M’Baye Niang since last summer and the 17 year old also had a trial at the club, with Arsenal reported to have lodged a £5 million bid to sign the player.

However Caen are believed to be holding out for a fee of £7 million for their coveted striker, as several top European clubs have entered the chase to sign him.

With Wenger unwilling to match the asking price, it seems AC Milan are closing in on agreeing a deal to sign the young forward.

The news will come as a blow to Arsene Wenger who rated the player highly. Niang has represented France at U21 level twice and scored once for them.
